The Storefront Spirit Contest will be used to promote LHS Mule Pride by businesses in the Lathrop Area through Facebook online voting. The contest will begin Monday, September 21, 2015 and end Friday, September 25.

Who can enter?

Any Lathrop area business may enter, and all businesses are eligible to win. Businesses are encouraged to display their LHS spirit throughout the season, not just during Homecoming.

What types of displays are eligible?

We are seeking displays of LHS spirit and pride that can be viewed by the community during the 2015 LHS Homecoming week. Painting of business windows, visible displays inside windows or outside displays, flags, banners or three-dimensional objects that can be safely displayed. Displays cannot cause traffic congestion and cannot be offensive. The displays should not feature logos that are copyrighted. Please do not defame another school district in your display.

To Enter:

All displays must be completed the end of the day on Sunday, September 20. To enter the contest, call us at 816-528-3500 or email us at lathropcc@yahoo.com. A photo will be taken of your business’s display and posted on the Lathrop Area Chamber of Commerce page on Monday, September 21. Only votes on photos posted by the Lathrop Area Chamber of Commerce will be counted toward the final tally for 1st and 2nd place.

Voting for the Best spirit:

Voting for the best business display for the Storefront Spirit Contest will take place through photos on the Lathrop Missouri Area Chamber of Commerce Facebook page. The number of “Likes” a photo receives determines the winner. The Lathrop Area Chamber of Commerce does not guarantee the posting of any submission and reserves the right not to post a submission for any and all reasons. All entrants’ photo submissions become the property of the Lathrop Area Chamber of Commerce for use in promoting the contest and LHS spirit.

As always, we welcome new members, and strive to make membership beneficial and attractive to our members. The Chamber seeks to promote ALL businesses in the Lathrop area. Membership is available on an individual basis – $25 per year per individual.
